Hello Everyone! I just found this site today and signed up for it. I am looking for relatives of my grandfather, Mariano Domingo Rugante. He was born in June 1908 and died Sep. 8, 2001. The only thing we know is that his mother's name was Balbina Domingo and he is from Ilocos Norte. We're not sure if Rugante is his real last name or the last name that he "adopted" before coming onto U.S. soil. Grandpa immigrated to Guam probably around WWII, however, he might have gone to Hawaii before he ended up in Guam. He married my grandmother, Rosemarie Taitano and together they had 10 children. Grandpa never talked about the Philippines to us, so we do not know any of his family members.
I live in the United States and have never been to the Philippines. I don't know if anyone will know my family, but I thought I'd try. I would appreciate any information that anyone has on my family. Thank you for your time.
