Failed dreams and unanswered prayers

Hindi ko alam kung meron talagang nagdasal sa kin para sa Fluor, but the extremely sad news is that...I failed the exams! :(

Talagang gumuho ang pangarap ko ng malaman ko ito, kasi ito ang No. 1 priority company ko, e. Now, what adds insult to the injuries are the fact that...

1. 4 out Top 5 companies went down the drain, there was still no reponse from the last one left.
2. I received three failing marks from the exams in a span of five weeks!

Hindi po bobo si Beef, in fact, my grades can be considered as competitive (around 84 to 88). Kaso, naghihinala ako na me iba pa kong sakit sa pag-iisip aside from dystonia, ewan ko lang ha? Siguro lang. Mahina kasi ang pang-intindi ko (medyo slow), kaya casulaty ako lagi sa exams. I can't believe my dreams went *poof*

Andami ko na ngang dala-dalang mabibigat na problema, dumagdag pa ito. Why me?!

NOTE: I have to admit that my religious life has been affected on what has been happening in my life in the past years.

Good morning superduper...Beef he is right....speaking from experience...I did had lows in my life but...I never let all these negative experience slowed me down...I kept on fighting till I got what I wanted....think positive my friend...I am praying for you.

I had too many lows in my entire 27 years of existence...I suffered major blows in every aspect in life - love, academics, career, family, health, peers, emotional, etc., etc. I suffered extreme pain!

Now, failing the exams for my No. 1 priority and company and rejected for the next 3 of my top 5 companies is way too much. Too much.

What's next?

Hi there beef, don't give up your hopes and dreams just because your expectations were not realised. Learn from those experiences and it will make you a better and stronger person. BEEF, DON'T EVER ENTERTAIN IN YOUR MIND ABOUT UNANSWERED PRAYERS. IN MY OWN HUMBLE OPINION, THERE NEVER WERE UNANSWERED PRAYERS. SOMETIMES THE LORD SIMPLY WANTS US TO WAIT FOR THE OPPORTUNE TIME. OR THE LORD ANSWERED NO AND NOT WITHOUT GOOD REASON. HE FORESEES THE CONSEQUENCES AND EVENTUALITIES OF EVENTS. TRUST IN THE LORD AND EVERYTHING WILL TURN OUT GOOD FOR YOU. JUST KEEP ON PRAYING.

There's this song that says "Sometimes I thank God for an unanswered prayers..." And the popular saying "God may not answer your prayers with Yes, but He will answer it with what is Best."

Yet again, the Bible has so many of this, like "All thing work together for good, to them that love God..."

My main point is. Beef, perhaps you are just trying to go in an already closed door. Why don't you try to set your focus on the other doors that have been opened up for you since the beginning of time. And this is the problem sometimes with us, human beings, that we keep on going to a closed door, that we fail to see what have been opened for us.

Like SuperD said, Failure are part of becoming successful. Failed dreams are the start to achieving brighter ambitions. Unanswered prayers are the result of being tried to perfection.

I quote Thomas Alba Edison's:

"People are not remembered by how many times they fail,
but by how often they succeed.
Every wrong step is another step forward."

Keep it up! Start your work with a prayer. Don't let these things affect your faith, but let these strengthen it, instead.

Thanks for the advice but it still failed to cheer me up. Kung hindi sunud-sunod ang failures ko e mabilis akong babangon, kaso iba ang nangyari sa kin talaga, e.

Fluor was my priority, Yung Hanjin ang gateway ko, pareho bulagta. Yun una mapapalampas ko pa, kaso yun sa pangalawa, masyado na kong nabagok. I need this company to enter Fluor as a Senior employee, and yet... :cry: :cry: :cry:

I'm considering IT, pero di pa rin siya priority.

Failures are part of success, i have lots of failures in life as well but those failures are the ones that molds me to be strong, more determined and most of all, brought me to what i am now... Don't lost your hope, as long as you act on what you want, for sure one day, you'll get it and possibly more than what you really want. Just PRAY and bear in mind the quote below my post :wink:

When they asked this morning, How I was doing? I answered them, I am doing wonderful! May have not been the honest answer, but one thing it did, was to make me feel wonderful. The good side of this is that, if you are positive... ah, what do you know, positive things happen.

I'd take Ms. SuperGlow's advice... it works like a charm!
