The Christmas Countdown in the homepage shows we only have less than 30 days until Christmas. In the Philippines, just when it hits the first day of September, you'd start hearing Christmas songs from the radio. Ah, what a wonderful season. We start counting how many more days left, really hoping your Ninongs and Ninangs will be there, too.
Yet, not only with the Western culture but now worldwide, we seem to give little notice to Thanksgiving. Today (or tomorrow in some zones) is Thanksgiving. It is time to give thanks for all the blessing we've received throughout the year and more. It is the time to also enjoy the 'holidays' since it is likely that there will not be any work during Thanksgiving day and the day after. That's two non-working paid holiday, my friend. Good for workaholic like me. It is also the time to spend more for shopping! After all, they give huge discount sales on the day after the Holiday! There goes your paycheck.
Here at INOL, we also want to give thanks to everyone who had been with us together as whole family sharing, enjoying, and interacting with fellow Ilocandians and INOLers. We hope that INOL will continue to be with us and to improve more in helping our province stand out or come out to the global presence.
