that won't sell... could make it as one of the dumbest things that apple introduced in macworld... reinventing the keyboard is not necessary at this point in time... trying to email using the "iwheel" takes 45 minutes? come on... what's wrong with the keyboard anyway?

if apple tries to sell this laptop, i won't buy it....

better for them.... why not improve the keyboard with easier buttons in it... replace the "command" button with that "wheel" (2" wheel) and put some p-i-p (picture-picture/on-screen navigation bar when you touch it) but not the entire keyboard itself

I agree, I don't think very many techies (much more regular users, like us) are willing to relinquish their comfort in using a keyboard.

And though I love Macs, the iWheel innovation? I don't buy it. I'd rather spend 45 seconds typing this post, than 45 minutes spinning the wheel.

we already have something called voice type software/speech to type software/speech recognition software.

amman. you have to install the software separately. there are websites offering "free" version of this software. however, there is a catch. or you can buy them for as low as $50 to as much as $900. don't know why this software is not available on phones. however, it is interesting to find out that there is an application available for the i-phone that does exactly the opposite. it's called text to speech (go figure) :grin:.
