Your CD/DVD drive is gone when you installed ITUNES

this might be a helpful tip to you folks: after you installed an itunes update and you couldn't find your DVD/CD rom/writer, the update have somehow didn't include the firmware for your cd drive (ex.: LG DVD Writer specifically) don't panic..... just go to this website and install an update:

http://www.gearsoftware.com/support/drivers.php

select your system: ie, 32/64 based systems or itanium systems.... download the patch and hope for the best
