People have different perception about the Marcos years but here's what I found out. Of course, I don't have the data to back this up but people (Ilocano, Tagalog, Cebuano, Davaoe?o) think life is much harder today than during the Marcos years.

In fairness to Marcos though, adu met nga talaga ti nagapuanan na para iti Pilipinas. Dagitay agkun-kuna nga awan nagapuanan na hypocrite dagidiay. Ti dakes ngamin, ad-adda nga makita ti tao diay dakes nga inaramid na.

Kasta nga talaga ti tao - ken demokrasya: some people must be sacrificed for the benefit of the majority.

It does'nt mean that if one had done something good that he/she is entitled to steal and leave those whom he/she helped to suffer.Marcos should have been a hero beacause of the good things he 's done,but because he did something not right that led to his downfall that even his fellow Ilocanos,like me,he is being hated till his passing away.God Bless His Soul

I agree,inayun mo dita nu manu nga malls,subdivisions,highways,high rise apartments and condos,LRTs ans MRTs,foreign investors,private local airliners,superferries,maibagam kadi nga marig rigat tayu ita wenno idi?

In my own humble opinion, regardless of who our president is today, we would still have the malls, the LRTs, superferries and all - these things are inevitable. They surely would have come even if (Ramos or) GMA is/was not our president.

Here's what I noticed: Dagidi pobre idi lal-lalo da nga nagrigat nangruna kadagitay pada nga mannalon. Uray kunaem nga adda Cell phone da ti kasasaad ti panagbiag ket narigat met latta.

Dagidi babaknang, karkaru nga bimmaknang ta daytoy ti kinapudno: dagiti policies da Ramos, Cory ken GMA, mas mabenepisyaran dagiti pada da nga elites.

Nabaybay-an nga naminpinsan ti agtaltalon.
