Got any plans for Summer? Especially sa Holy Week?
I scraped the plan of going to Ilocos Norte becoz of provincial bus fare increase, so instead I'll go church hopping in Bulacan and Antipolo. I'll pray to the max. Damn...If I only got much money... :(

La nga kong pera, sasabit ka pa...Balato naman jan, kabsat. I juz paid a hefty 12k tuition fee. Konti na lang natira sa ATM ko, baka kulang pang pampasyal sa Laoag yun. :(
Nagtitiyaga na lang nga ko sa Bulacan, e. Boring ng konti at least I have sumpin to do in Maundy Thursday.

Most baksyonistas I know just rent a full size van. It's all theirs to enjoy and don't have to share with strangers. Most people do that nowadays. I have a feeling it will be the mainstream soon :)

Are there really full-size vans for rent, I mean from rental companies? I might consider that as an alternative, just in case my application for vacation at work gets approved. I love long distance driving! :D :D

Way back in '94, I got decieved in Cainta, Rizal into believing I would be witnessing the real re-enactment of the crucifixion with all those nails piercing through the hands and feet of the "Christ". From Malate, I went there very early to position myself right in the front row of photographers trying to document the whole ritual only to see a hoax. You can just imagine how frustrated I was. Had I known beforehand, I could have gone to another place. . . . It was a colorful show though, a pageantry, if I may, with all those costumes and make-ups, I did make the most of it. I even submitted two shots from that scene to a photography contest but no luck. :wink: :wink: :wink:
Still in '94, I was there at the foot of the Luneta Grandstand too during the Easter Sunrise Service with a photographer's tag from the secret service because Fidel Ramos would be speaking there. (You can't get near and photograph the president w/o the tag. But before they issue you that tag, they have to inspect your gadgets).

Actually, the plane he's riding landed at 6:59 am. Paglabas niya, ba, dumeretso sa Departure area, ba, almost 9 am na, di pa lumalabas?!! Makakapunta pa ba kong Pangasinan nun? E di naman ako mag-oovernight? Bad trip talaga ko.
Saka di ako ginawang bestman. Magka-away mom niya at mom ko. Sa Zamboanga City pa gagawin. E me pasok ako. Wala talaga kong bakasyon this year. Fifth year straight. :(

T-rex and BB-M: Thank you so much to both of you for the valuable suggestions and information you have given here.
I took a good look at the map of Taiwan and discovered that to go to Kaohsiung from Taipei, I would be traveling from the northern tip toward the southern end of the tobacco-leaf-shaped island. Which makes me wonder, does that necessitate a Taiwan visa? How long would the trip from Taipei to Kaohsiung be, and is it by bus? I need to travel lightly perhaps, to take this itinerary, don't you think so? Except maybe if there are airport buses that link the two airports together.

Ading daguersson how's the heat in Chicago?...at leasti Ading Glow...the weather there is far much better....but even it's too hot...I am trying to enjoy the heat....I just swim in the pool if I feel too hot at home....and most of the time..I use my two piece swim suit even I am not in the pool.....that's how hot it is here.... :cry:
