I am not a Theologian but here is a complete (I hope) answers to all your questions.

From the perspective of a "Faith-alone" doctrine Christianity; if you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord in your heart, there is a perfect guarantee that you will go to Heaven. The famous John 3:16 says so. Ephesians 2:8-9 also says: "For by grace are ye saved through Faith, and that's not from yourselves (works), it is the gift from God, not by works, lest anyone should boast.

Now, if a homosexual accepted Christ - the Bible says, he is SAVED and will go to heaven. But here is a catch, the Bible also mentions, "they are transformed from old creature to new", they are "born again". If they "truthfully" accepted Christ as their Savior, then they should have been transformed to becoming righteous in the sight of God. They should have been born again to their new image or new Christian-like behavior.

On the other hand, one would ask, "So you are saying only Faith alone can save me, even I am the worst person in the world, and I kill people, and stuff?" Well, according to the Bible yes, but again, here is another Bible phrase "Faith without works is dead." Is this a confusion on the Bible's part? Actually no, the phrase were directed not to "unbelievers" but "believers". Meaning that once you accepted Chist as your Savior through faith, then it will be high time for you to be good and righteous in God's sight - this is how you will live your second life (as being born again).

But if they accept Christ as their savior - there should not be any reason why they would not be accepted in Heaven after all, they become children of God.

I think I explore too much. Computer is not really my passion. At earlier age, I wanted to become a good preacher. Then when I was in High School, I wanted to be in Medicine field. I tried and learned a lot about Biology, Chemistry, Zoology, and all "logies". At the end of my high school life, I wanted to become a scientist involved with Astronomy. I learned and studied Astrology for more than a year and mastered all the points in the night sky.

When I entered college, I changed to Engineering. I began to love Math, Physics, Calculus, Trig, Differential Equations, and so and so. Less than ten years ago, I came to U.S. Then I dived into Programming, created programs for my company, and such and such. Now I am into Computer Security, protecting users from people with bad intent. What a mess! But I learned a lot. It is an accumulated knowledge we can apply it day by day in our lives. I am happy with it.

Oopps, sorry I was off tangent with the topic for a bit.

Bottomline is: Trust Jesus as your savior, no matter who or "what" you are, and God will accept you as you are. Faith is the victory! After all God is Love.

Tell them the truth if you know the truth, the whole of it. If you know only half of it, better not say anything because half truths are as good as lies. But do not judge them if you are unrighteous, yourself. Jesus said, They who are sinless, let them cast the first stone.

Right on, guys!!!

But isn't it true that gays/lesbians can become "straights" if they want to?
I mean, I've seen guys (I've grown up with) who we percieved to be gay but now they're happily married and have children of their own. They changed. That's why I thought that if a gay chooses to go "straight", he can.

right. that's just a matter of personal choice. if you choose to be gay then you're a gay, if you choose to be straight then you are straight.but i guess if you chose to follow the path you dont think its what you realy want....its gonna be so sad.:(
