Okay ngarud, guys, what makes you proud?I'm really proud to be pinoy...Most of the time they thought I'm Japanese/chinese minsan latina pa...and I always tell "nope I'm pinay"...I work in a big hotel karamihan dito puros puti ang nasa management...bihira lang ang pinoy...I worked very hard to be in this position...I went back to school kahit natapos ako ng college diyan...I became a coporate trainee...You just need to prove that you know better than them...I gained the respect...and I'm proud to say that I'm the boss of older white people...I'm the youngest in my dept....and I'm their boss...I'm very proud of this kasi pinag-hirapan ko masyado...and I'm still working on it...I want to be even better because I'm pinoy...

I am proud ...I am Filipino, and most of all an Ilocana.....like Gloria ...most of the time they think I am Puerto Rican... but I always correct them, and tell them I am Filipino.These people that I work with are open and they do understand, that anywhere, bad things happen , not only in Philippines. As my husband always tell people, he would rather hire Filipinos, cause they are very hard working , smart, and honest people. And he is very proud he married me.

I'm proud to be a Filipino bec of the conservative ways that I brought up and the traditional manners that I grew up and as my husband says the most beautiful and loving wife around the world are filipino ladys and I think that is unigue and admirable worldwide.....

Right ading daguerrson....when I turn a little bit fair...my hubby always tell me to go out and have some sun...he says ...if he wanted to marry a ghost then he could have married an american(white)...but he wanted one like me :) ...even at work...specially in summer, I do a lot of gardening...everyone tells me how beautiful my skin is :wink:

One purpose why we go abroad is to WORK, maybe that's why most of us work hard when in abroad, we don't have relatives to help and rely on. While if we are in our own country, we are attuned to the saying "BAHALA NA" We rely too much from others...

...given the chance....if there are available work/jobs for all Pinoys at home....Filipinos are hard workers, and that's a fact....the problem is....the government is not doing a thing in creating jobs for our graduates...so where do they go?...abroad...most of these college graduates go to Hong Kong, Singapore, Middle east, Europe, Canada, etc......others are lucky to land a job in their field of specialization....but ...sad to say.....mostly as domestic workers....tsk tsk tsk...these politicians should do something!
