Apo Daguer, I've only experienced this once last week. After then, it has been okay. However, I have noticed a little performance issues lately. I wish I could review the code modules to see where is the line of code that triggers the jump.

Lakay gr8-one, can you check this problem? It seems like we've been getting more of this. On one hand, I think there is one module that initiaites this, I'll check for more, and PM you what I find out.

In the meantime, try "browser cleanup". Clear your cookies and cache from your web browser, sometimes it is a cookie issue.

apo daguer mayaten! i mean i was able to go to the home page once without the inquirer...what i did was clicked on my page immediately (because if i dont do that, it goes to the inq.) then clicked on the forum, then on the private messages, then crossed my fingers and clicked home and when it appeared i immediately clicked on the chat (gamin isu ti umuna a nagpakita) then somehow it stayed there on the home page na...Naulaw siguro.... so after posting this message ill try to go back to the home page again and see if i can have it back again ...

Zach, "I think" I've found one of the root causes of this inquirer site redirect. gr8-one once mentioned that it could be related to your personal settings but I don't believe so. It happened to me once, but I was not even logged in. There are links that were built-in the web portal code that will redirect us to a certain websites (such as the Up-to-the-minute news), and there was once an inquirer present that time that had been redirecting even any buttons or references are clicked.

It is still hard for me to review the codes as I don't have full access to them. However, try clearing your cookies and cache. Usually, this helps for the most part. If you are using Mozilla, go to Tools > Options > Privacy, clear cookies and cache. This will reinitiate your cookie settings. This can be a temporary fix.

Another good point to note is your proxy settings. Not the settings of your computer but the ISP (which we don't have any control of this). I remember this happened once to me when I was at Hyatt logging in, and it could be their web cache server security settings allowing other sites to be redirected without proper triage.

I will consult with [Unknown] if I can review some of his codes and add do some modifications (after graduation, hehehe). Or we may need to add some patches.

Hmmm, interesting?

Are you at INOL when you clear your cache and cookies? Are you logged in when this happens? When was the last time it was working? Did you try clearing your IE cache and cookies as well (there might be some cookies that being utilized here)?

When I get a chance to chat with you, I will try to walk you through on some of the 'dynamic' steps to try to mitigate this problem. :wink:

I think some incompatibility has developed between IE flash player and INOL because sometimes it renders my pc non-responding. In some other instances, it logs itself off. It is not the case with Firefox. But I find Firefox too sluggish, that's why I harness it but not without hesitation. :evil:

There were recent updates on Microsoft OS (including IE), regarding Flash. There are some vulnerabilities found with the Flash and need to upgrade it to the latest version.

Please see if you can upgrade it with the latest Flash version and still occurs?

Anyone else experience this issue?

Is this the first time it happened? Can you tell me where did it happen - in the homepage, in the forum, or where in our site?

I wonder if it was caused by the recent upgrade? I don't use IE often to be able to replicate this, so I will test that for few tries.

I also found out that with Firefox, the two scrolling blocks (forums lists and top ten posters) make it slower at some part. I think this also could be one root cause. I will try to rewrite the forums block not to scroll anymore but still gives the same benefits.

Please report more of this instance, so I can isolate what is causing it. Thank you...
