got my hands dirty the past few days trying to upgrade our website's engine from pphpNuke6.5 to latest version. As expected, some features may be disabled for now as I am still trying to add some of the previous hacks and mods into the new engine.

some cool new features of the new system include a built-in point system whereby you can earn ponts by participating in several of the site's contents. You can eran points by posting in the forum, submitting news, making a journal entry, commenting on a topic, adding a download to name just a few.

Edits:- removed some java scripts for faster page generation
- installed INOL Chatroom (for guests and INOLers alike)

Am using Windows XP Prof. I don't see any button at all. I disabled my pop up blocker when I tried to get into the chatroom.

MHTS, I resorted to my M Firefox browser and voila! I had the typing space I was looking for way back then. I actually tried it by monologue-ing in there and it worked fine, even the smileys. I did not see where you can actually change the colors of your type.

Glad to hear that apo Daguer, I am speculating that it must be on the Security settings option on the IE (perhaps Javascript, or some sort). Anyway, it works on Firefox, so it's cool. We'll see you there.

After you end your session, all the discussions will be gone. However, there is a Save option on the Chat, where you could basically save that session as archive. There is also a logging mechanism built-in to this, but this is turned off (I think). You can save the session, and you can basically saved that too in your PC. That save session is "hashed" only for you, but it will be eventually removed after a day. So, it is wise to save them offline, if you would like to do it that way.

If you place your cursor on top of the small red button, you would see the x shows up. Just click on that, and that should end your session, logging you off from the chat.

More INOL Projects are coming up - just enhancements of some older modules that needed to be upgraded specifically tailored just for INOL.

All INOLERS, I am very open for suggestions, corrections (both grammars and spellings), criticisms, and all sort - I am all ears, so please let me know anything you want just to make our site better. Let me know if it is getting slower because of all these updates, so I'll know the baseline.
