If my house is burning.....what will I take with me?...Hmmmmmm....that's an easy question...My hubby bought me a jewelry armoire when we got married...and one of my passion is collecting jewelries....some are family heirlooms...I inherited all his mother's jewelry when she passed away...and I have added a lot ever since...so I positioned my armoire near the bedroom window....just in case there's a fire...I can just throw it outside ....hihihihihihi...and if I can't do it...my hubby better!...or he will be in deep shit :evil: .....

Of course, no way we can oppose natural calamities. It is designed like that, and our rule is to learn, respect and deal with them.

What? Even if how minor the impact of the earthquake, all is shutdown, including phones? That is weird, hehe. What if I have to call my GF or wife to know she is okay, still I won't be able to call her?

you can call them naman but advisory lang yun.... kasi they try to be safe...what if the small earthquake is the prelude to the bigger one, so one has to reserve the batteries, electricity and even the space in the communication lines ta isu ti mausar a pagsarrak kadagitay maawawan wenno agireport ti damages.the tv channels would just post a warning but programs wont appear. all programs would be dedicated to the earthquake no matter how small. agasem? hhehehe

Kinaagpayso na, Japan has probably the most advance building design to minimize the effect of earthquakes.

Adda ti nabasak idi nga dagitay kabarbaro nga buildings dita ket adda dagiti some kind of "spring" & "rollers" right at the foot of the building tapno iti kasta ket haan unay ma-shake diay building.

anytime gayam ket ready ka ditan...I have that earth quake bag too in our garage...adda ngamin earth quake ditoy San Fran few year ago....I think I need to check this out...I will update everything in that bag....
