O, ha, hayup sa description, hehehe. To all those undergoing these Math subjects like me, musta na ang pagtatake-niyo nito? "Dali" 'no? How was/is your Calculus subject life? Mine? "Difficult"!
Actually, Integral pa lang ako, pero makabasag-bungo talaga ang Calculus na ire. ECE ako, so meron pa kong 3 more Calculus subjects to endure. Bwiset talagang subjects to. I blame this to Liebniz and Newton (the inventors of Calculus). Hehehehe! The problem is, mahilig pa naman mamato ng kalabasa yung teacher namin dine, more half sa klase namin bumabagsak talaga.

Kidding aside, I liked Calculus.
Madali lang naman intindihin e basta you put your heart in it.
Yun nga lang, hindi ko na masyadong nagagamit sa trabaho. Mas nagagamit ko yung "Strenght Of Materials at Trigo".

Hindi mo naman magagamit ang Calculus sa practice. Siguro sa mga really complicated calculations, pwede, pero sa pangkaraniwang gamit...bihira.
I don't hate Calculus, I don't love it either, ok lang siya, pero majo mahirap!

Problem:
FIND THE DOMAIN OF THIS FUNCTION
5x + 3
f(x) = -------------------
2
X + 8x + 7
Solution:
The above is given, now we note that:
5x + 3
f(x) = -------------------
2
X + 8x + 7
5x + 3
= -------------------
(x+7)(x+1)
Solve for "x" to make denominator zero
(x+7)(x+1) = 0
x = -7
x = -1
It follows that the domain of this is:
(-oo, -7)u (-7,-1)u(-1,oo)
oo = infinity

BeefPapaitan, I just wonder if you can take the Two Course at the same time in your School. What I know is that there at least one year difference.
Maybe somebody could encourage some company to put these call centers in Ilocos. What we need is good communication infrastructure and good people to man such call centers or support center.
BeefPapaitan, I just wonder if you can take the Two Course at the same time in your School. What I know is that there at least one year difference.
One is a pre-requisite of the other.
You cannot take them simultaneously.

Now this would be great. Bongbong should do more to show off our province's investment potential. If he can do that, we may not need to invite investors - they will beg to come into our province.
The Pamulinawen festival would be a good medium to lure potential investors. If the city gov. can improve this (say, just like the Sinulog and Ati-Atihan of the Visayas), Ilocos Norte may be able to get a chunk of the huge foreign investment pouring in the Visayas area.
Those 2 festivals are so popular abroad that foreigners plan their vacation to coincide with them. And as it happens, the domino effect comes into play. One guy invite his friend, the other invite his, and so on and so forth.
We have an international airport so this would make it easier :)

Anyway in Northewester University we have design the COE and ECE curriculum so that students have the option to take it simultenously and it pass also the so cold Technical Panel for Engineering. :)

Hi Joshraven, I have a feeling that you were once (shall I say) an administrator at NU. Am I right?
Anyway, isn't ECE supposed to be a part of COE?
JOSHRAVEN
01-24-2004, 02:20 PM
I was just an in-charge of doing the review for the curriculum. In abroad what I know is that the two is a part of EE. But in the Philippines sometimes they are together sometimes they are not depends on the College that manage the two engineering courses.
Both ECE and COE has same prerequisite up to the fourth year, if the administrator could carefully plan the subjects based of the requirement given by the Techincal Panel ( this is composed of Flagship University representative like Ateneo, De Lasalle, UP and Mapua) there should be no problem taking both ECE and COE.
NU has already gone through level 1 for COE and ECE, while the other like school MMSU is not yet. The reason could be MMSU is thinking that they are not required to do such accreditation but I would they are wrong. State Universities are also cover by this.
Sometimes the reason for a great setback from colleges in manila is this: When administrators and faculty design the curriculum, they remove most of the important but hard subjects, like in COE's Assemby Language, Operating System and the likes why? Because they had a hardtime teaching this one. They would them replace the subject with some interesting but not as beautiful experience that anyone could put that into the resume.
My advise to students, make sure your university is accredited or passed certain level of accreditation. Ask your DEAN and Chairman. ;)

Pag may signal processing could be recommended by TPEA.

Problem:
FIND THE DOMAIN OF THIS FUNCTION
5x + 3
f(x) = -------------------
2
X + 8x + 7
Solution:
The above is given, now we note that:
5x + 3
f(x) = -------------------
2
X + 8x + 7
5x + 3
= -------------------
(x+7)(x+1)
Solve for "x" to make denominator zero
(x+7)(x+1) = 0
x = -7
x = -1
It follows that the domain of this is:
(-oo, -7)u (-7,-1)u(-1,oo)
oo = infinity
What so hard about that? :lol:

Solve for "x" to make denominator zero
(x+7)(x+1) = 0
x = -7
x = -1
It follows that the domain of this is:

Same computation procedure, different answer.
How do you explain that?
Not bad. . . :wink:

My calculations give me a different answer.
Problem:
FIND THE DOMAIN OF THIS FUNCTION
5x + 3
f(x) = -------------------
2
X + 8x + 7
Solution:
The above is given, now we note that:
5x + 3
f(x) = -------------------
2
X + 8x + 7
5x + 3
= -------------------
(x+7)(x+1)
Solve for "x" to make denominator zero
(x+7)(x+1) = 0
x = -7
x = -1
It follows that the domain of this is:
(-oo, -7)u (-7,-1)u(-1,oo)
oo = infinity
What so hard about that? :lol:
