Biblically "no" ,
according to law "yes"
There are various factors why I am FOR Death Penalty. The government doesn't really "kill" these convicted individual for no reasons, it is merely a punishment for what they have done.
The idea behind Death Penalty is to set a great example to others. If the punishment for such action is so deadly, why would someone do the same thing, if they know it could cause their life? In other words, the government say, "don't do these, or else..."
Way back to our ancient civilization, death penalty has been there. In the Bible, the worst penalty is also death - much more to it - crucifixion. We know that Jesus was also sentenced to a Death Penalty when he pleaded guilty of Blasphemy: when He claimed He is indeed the Son of God. Blasphemy during that time is one of the worst crimes a man can do. And they immediately sentence you to a death penalty.
In the beginning, when Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they were spiritually "killed" (seperated) from His presence. So even in the Bible, it teaches us that when we do horrible, terrible, or stupid things against the law (of whoever) - penalty is at stake. At its worst - death.
Back to my point, death penalty is good. This is not to speak inhumane of myself, but this is just about right for things that these individuals do inhumanely in the first place. Hang em!
