It wasn't working... If i click on the link, it just give me the page to enter the home page...

Do we have a problem with the notification service??

Isu nga damdamagek apo no sika ti administrator/designer toy website ta agpatulungak. Diak met am-ammo no sino ni Lakay kas kada sinno man... Ni beefpapaitan nakita lang isuna yan IDO idi ngem haan ko am-ammo no sinno isuna, except he can't let go of his gurl, hehe.

Anyway, no madi maresolve detoy... hehe.. pasensyaan dak lattan no diak masungbatan dagitay dadduma nga replies. hehe!

I see what you are saying. I had some issues resolving that email notification. It may seem as though it is a simple change, but I will still have to play around with it over the weekend.

Thanks for bringing it up. I will go ahead and look deeper into the codes to fix the problem, hopefully this weekend. For the time being, the workaround is to insert the word "inside" after the "ilocosnorte-online.com/".

This issue should be resolved now. I made some modifications to the codes that should fix it. Please let me know if it is working now. Thank you again for bringing this up.

Thanks for your suggestions, too, about some Ads and things like those. It was one of my goals to make this site "Ads-free website". That's why I am still thinking about adding some blinking ads or links. I have tested adding to some of our pages if you had noticed (such as the INOL Travel module, Music, and Currency modules) - I am just testing them not really thinking too much of it.

In the future, I might be adding more, but not in the homepage. The homepage will be redesigned soon (but no Ads will be added). However, "ads-like" banners will be posted but this will banners that links to personal or other webpages of users or whoever that wants one!

Any forum here is applicable to all - specially concerning Ilocos. So feel free to post or create threads on any forums.

I know that this apps is making this site slow, which is a little bit pain sometimes. Will looking into this issue at the moment.

In addition, this is the default theme, you can also change your theme to another one, which is the last one (Flashback). Try it out, too.

I think the main reason why the first one you tried didn't work because I deleted that post. It was a test post I did, but you got a notification. But when you came and click on the link, the post was gone, so you got the error. All should be okay now... (I hope)...

Can you confirm that you already clicked on the link on the bottom of the thread to "stop watching this thread for replies"? This should stop you from receiving those emails again.

I have been looking into the codes, where to explicitly change this setting from the database but I have to go through a stack of hay to find that needle. I am still searching though.

If you confirmed that you already stop watching, can you try again.

Can you also copy/paste the link that you get from your email, so I can check?

For PM's, you can change this from your settings not to receive email for new PM...

Hmmmm... I never experienced that?! I assumed you are using Opera? It "should" work. But I can't bet my money on that until I prove it. (Will test it tonight).

The Menu (for the default theme) is written in pure Javascript, so this is always almost the client side that is doing the work. If for some reason, it doesn't work, I would suspect the browser is not interpreting it correctly.

Oh yeah the Menu for the Flashback theme needs remodelling. Ubraek ton maminsan ket adu unay daytoy nagyan ti pinggan kon.

But hey it is workable, it isn't that bad eh?! :wink: Besides it is not that noticeable... hehe, unless you are speedy gonzales then you feel a very slight change as huge impact!
